Thanks

Few folks have reached out and from some additional research looks like there are a few options in the triangle:
Bull City Soundworks
DJL Vintage Audio
Darren Riley's guitar and amp shop(although website appears to indicate that no more amp work is being done)
Euclid Audio Repair
Soundpure(store that might do amp repairs?)

I was going to recommend Yontz Sucre who had Mad Science amp repair. He has always had great reviews and did some repair work for me when I lived over in that area, but upon google search, looks like he closed shop.

Think I saw his name in some old posts too, but yes can't find any info on him online

Update on the tech situation - I finally found a great and reliable tech in the area.

Shout-out to Jon Berrier from Berrier Audio Works for the magic he worked on my amps!
I am EXTREMELY picky about who works on my amps.

I had gotten the Bogner Pandora, but for a year I couldn't bond with the amp, sounded choked on the gain and lacking serious mojo. I didn't trust anyone to work on that amp until Jon was recommended to me.

Jon brought that amp back to the fire-breathing monster that I had initially heard clips of and it is now my favourite amp!!

For those of y'all looking for a great tech in the triangle, I highly recommend checking out Jon.

I have been searching for a subject-matter expert for 4 years so I hope this will help anyone who needs an expert who will give their amps the attention to detail it needs.

ps. Jon has the sickest studio around with a dozen incredible amps, #bringbackanalogamps

Yeah, he was the best, but closed a year or two ago to focus on the studio side. There’s a Mesa certified tech that’s supposed to be good around Durham, but I don’t know his name

I've heard good things about Yontz. Jon has solved everything I've thrown at him in the last few months, so i can confidently say after 3 projects, he is gonna be my goto recommendation in the area.
