Metallica: Live at Kroeg Bar, Brunssum, Netherlands (September 10, 1996) - [DEFINITIVE EDITION]

Interesting to see a band of their scale still shitting around between songs, during soundcheck, you know, the stuff that sound guys usually hate... :cheers:

Oh, fun fact that no one in the comments seems to have picked up;
at 13m39s Kirk starts this riff of a Jaguar song; "Dutch Connection" (of course given that they were playing this show in the Netherlands).
Classic NWoBHM that's not that well known to some.

That Garage Days album in 1997 was probably the last album of theirs I really enjoyed.

Garage Inc just may be the best overall produced / sounding record I've ever heard. Hetfields guitar tones are mind-blowing in my opinion.
hard agree. the mercyful fate medley is also so fucking good. the first thing i did when i got garage inc as a 15 year old, was learn the fate medley start to finish. i got to see them on that tour, at a 2k seat club, because i was in the fan club... 11/20/98, its on you tube. lots of funny stories surrounding my life and that gig, but no ones gunna care. to keep it brief, i'm pretty sure my friends mom banged someone on Metallicas crew that night :ROFLMAO:

We care. Tell the stories bro.

I still maintain that Kirk would be the best Metallica dude to hang with.
