New Guitar Day Incoming - Opinions?

Looks like my Custom from 2001. Of course it came with gold hardware, which I had to swap out. Oh, and Ebony :D

Who's to say you couldn't try a guy for one song? Someone who understands Lynch and Red Fang  You are going for a big sound, without a label. Don't blow the budget with one guy on 12 tunes, to find out he's a bad match. Perhaps an EP? Check out some of your fav bands out of TX, just...

Ever just get 'tired' of playing??

Hanging out with your buds sounds like a good time  Half of making music is enjoying it and enjoying who you make it with. To answer your question. Yes, it's been a few months. I seem to only pick it up when it's time to get down. And that is fine by me.

    tracking guitars?...

..production goal, ep, album, vibe, it goes on an on and there are no rules. You want to track guitars till your eyes bug out, go for it. Mixdown is not the time to track more guitars, unless you really want to piss off your bandmates.

The future of rock guitar rigs...

Forgot about TC, futuristic designs. DI is cool but some guys gotta feel it, right?!?! Also, not all gigs happen at a venue that has it's own system. Basement shows and very small clubs, you are mic'ing vox, kick, snare and leaving the rest to cranking amps...

The future of rock guitar rigs...

How do other instruments compare? Bass guitar. Ampeg SVT and 8x10's. Lots of fun for load in and tear down. Markbass has the Bass Multiamp S. Mark bass no longer makes the 610 or 810, which was easily 30-50 pounds lighter than Ampeg cabs. Keyboards. Unless your tour can pay for room on a semi...
