Since I’m on an amp slaving kick, how would I use this to slave my amps preamps out? The same way as if I was using another full amps power amp? As in, sending the effects send out of one amp, into the effects return of the PS2?

I have the PS-2, 50 watt. Plenty loud. Gig it all the time.

Pretty much exactly this... or there's a line in on the PS-2 that can handle it. Either way you get the same result, though with the line in that allows you to use the PS-2's loop down the chain instead of between your amp's line/send out and the effects return of the PS-2.
