This is one of those amps that I almost got a couple of times. I did get to borrow one and it sounded amazing!
at 55lbs, it weighs as much as a lighter weight 212 cab!!! The one I had weighted 58lbs! The head shell is massive!
Here is a video i did some years back with the first time i had the EL34. Returned it cause the gain cascading of the red and blue channel was bugging me and i thought a had a defective one!!!!?.
Now i just got another one i i absolutely love it. Now that i know it is a normal thing for the gains to interact, it doesn't bother me .
stock , but it's a modern voicing thing. If that's all you play thru you won't really notice. Put it next to an amp with open mids and you'll hear it. Most guys want that compressed uber gained tone for drop tuning chugga stuff
This is a more classic metal tone with the OG amp that was more open and has less 'fizz' than the EL34 I owned. Think Steel Panther
