1x12 cab to use with a jp2c

For those that own one of these or 2c+, what would be a good 1x12 for practice use to go with this head? I think the general consensus is that these sound best with v30s as well, correct?

I don't have the JP2c but I use a Mesa widebody 1x12 3/4 back with a Mark IV and it sounds huge. Not boxy at all and more bottom than my 2x12

If you can find one a Forte 3D 1x12, best 112 I've ever owned by miles. If not I would look at v boutique. They have some killer cabs!!!

Look for a used Mesa Thiele 1x12, they pop up used on GC or Music go round from time to time. Or buy new. If it comes loaded with an EV you have no worries wattage wise. And EVs work great with Mark series amps.

The only 1x12 I've played mine through is my old style 1x12 Recto V30 cab, but I really like it. I have a couple tone comparo videos it's in.

I've heard that the Thiele boxes are very directional, FWIW. I've also heard that two of them pointed off axis sounds pretty huge.

I have a Mesa Recto 1x12 slant look cab for the time (store lent it to me) with my new JP2C that I bought while I wait for my custom Mesa 212 to be built. Sounds fabulous!

+1 This speaker sounds good with every amp in just about any cab, closed or open back. Best speaker I've tried, spendy but totally worth it.
