The first two pics I have found so far. Great looking Angel models:

im curious to see if they will be releasing a 7 string angel this year.

I don't believe that is in the cards in the foreseeable future (according to Tom).

Ugly. Wood sucks.

*Burp*

I recently ordered an Angel. While I was talking to Roy I mentioned that they should make 24 fret 7's. He agreed and said he had been telling Tom that for a long time and that he would mention it again. I think they will make them eventually.

Pretty bizarre looking piece of Koa on that drop top. I think its koa .

Can short scale guitars only be done with 22 frets? I would love to have a TAG Angel in a short scale version.

Very nice. I'm not interested in anyone's guitar with a Floyd on it, but I'd take a non-FR Angel in a second. As a matter of fact, the Angel just might be the Anderson that I eventually add to my Drop Top Classic. I like the plain white one with two HBs and a stop tail bridge.

The Vigier Shawn Lane guitar has 24 frets and is 24 3/4" scale so it must be possible.

I wish he'd consider going back to the old neck joint. I had one with the new wedge neck joint and never could get it to sound or sustain as well as I thought it should. Really wonder if it's that wacky neck joint. But maybe that particular guitar was just a dud. I still have an older one with the more typical block heel, and it's an incredible instrument.

Sometimes it's as simple as that. I hate to think Tom would build a dud but you never know. I love the newer neck joint. I had an older TAG for a while with the original neck joint and just couldn't get into it. In fact, that was the main reason I sold it. I have gotten so used to way the newer joint feels that anything else feels unfamiliar to me. Different strokes!
