I picked up an Adrian Smith SDX for a pretty good price, under $300.00. Whoever had it before me did some parts swapping. I have no idea what the bridge pickup was, but it sounded horrible. So i swapped a Jackson pickup out of my dinky in and it sounds better. The neck is a Seymour Duncan pickup that doesn't sound bad. The middle pickup isn't even hooked up, i'm not worried about that. My question is both pots are pretty tight to turn. I would like some opinions on 250 or 500. I plan on getting a Dimarzio Super Distortion sometime soon.
