Hello...

Who out there is running an Uber and what cabs are recommended for these bad boys??

Thanx,
V.

The new front loaded uber cab. I have used my diezel cabs when I had rev blue head and they sounded great and I am going to use them with the new twin jet uber. I am really thinking about getting a couple of the new uber cabs from what rob at tone merchants has told me about them.

 Thanks... Got some PM action from Tone Merchant and we're looking into a new 2x12 as well... I won't be gigging this beauty - it's a studio amp only, so the power of a 4x12 isn't necessary, and hey, if I can save space, I will... I'm thinking either the oversized 2x12 closed back cabinet currently available loaded with G12T75's or this new 2x12 cab that TM is talking about.

So long as it rips and sounds 'right' with a couple mics shoved in front of it, I'm stoked.

Peace,
V.

I heard the new 2x12s. Pretty sweet. I really want to get a bunch of cabs in one place and try them. I so need a few cabs.

Where are these front loaded Bogner cabs? Not much in the way of advertising going on.

Edit.....and front loaded with what?

The new Uber cab is front loaded. I think I have the only one at the shop. I used it for the XTC video demo. its a very wide open aggresive sounding cab. I a/b it against a normal Uber cab and I really liked the new one better. the front loaded is more 3d sounding. i really dug playing the rear and front at the same time. Also, I was at Bogner today and wanted to take some pictures of the new 2x12. But, my camera battery died so I just took the cab. Im going to do an a/b of the new 2x12 with a 2x12OS that Ive been using for years. ill post pics tomorrow

Rob,

What is the pricing gonna be on the FL cabs and what speaker options is Herr Bogner giving us? Taking orders now or what?

Thx,
Steve

yes im taking orders on the front loaded Uber cabs. The new short 2x12 sounds great. I a/b with my os 2x12 and couldnt decide which one i like better. If i was going to record, I would use the short 2x12 and for a live rig because I use alot of effects, I might go os2x12. If u take the effects out of the equation, then I really like the punch of the short 2x12. the new uber front loaded cab is around 1120 and the 2x12 is around 780. The short cab is designed to either go on top or the bottom of a 4x12
