I don't understand why people freak out over tweaking the Axe stuff, unless it's something where they just can't restrain themselves and fall into the rabbit hole (as I've heard others describe it). I tell guys to just stick to the same controls they'd use on the physical devices. Maybe that's just something that's gotten better with the Axe-III?

Sadly I have seen quite a few guys go down that rabbit hole. They get so obsessed with tweaking every single parameter and every single thing they can and it ends up sounding like a crazy mess. I think they just get so deep into it, they don't realize they are at the point of no return and need to start over.

This is very true! This one is my first Fractal product and I have to say, making changes on it is very, very easy. I just found a couple of cab/mic IRs from the stock profiles that I normally would like in other products and from there it was all good! Sounds fabulous! Now that I have the FC-6, I am going to start using this with my regular gigs in a couple of weeks.
