Mer De Noms absolutely blew my mind. One of my favorite albums EVER.


Thirteenth step was the biggest disappointment of my life up to that point. It was like APC threw out everything that made MDM awesome; the melody, the soundscape, the lyrics, the passion, the fury, EVERYTHING. Total fail.

AND they got rid of their chick bassist She wasn't that hot (because of her massive nose) but we all know chick bassists rule

I almost included her in my list. When she ties her hair in the pony tail really quickly on the Judith vid, that's FUCKING AWESOME!

I've always loved that part too.
Her is Paz Lenchantin I think.
I saw APC live at an outdoor festival during the release of Mer De Noms.
I remember they took the stage at like 2:00pm and they said Maynard had just woken up. Anyways, he strolled on stahe wearing nothing but his long black wig and a pair of tight black boxer briefs. The performance was great, and I noticed some really cool tattoos on Maynard. He has a realistic looking black and grey tattoo of his spine and the back of his pelvic bone. Basically, a tattoo of the bones themselves.

Mer de Noms is awesome...
I just wished they wouldn`t have fucked this song up so much when they recorded the studio version. The original/early live version is amazing in comparison to the studio track. They played this when I saw them on the Mer de Noms tour and it was amazing

We used to cover Judith and The Pet. Different stuff for Maynard in APC as opposed to Tool. I think Billy Howerdel the musical influence. He has come a long way from being Adam Jone's old guitar tech. Ah yes, the chic on bass....yummy.

That is more metal than most of the poser deathmetal kiddies, that betty is forking HAWT doing that!

JUdith is just killer, incredible song but also love Weak and Powerless.

The first album is one of my all-time favorites... Only songs I don't like on that album are Judith, Renholdër, and the beginning of Over with that kid piano...

The second album was a huge let down for me... because the first one was sooooo good!!! The Package, The Noose, Blue and The Outsider are the only tracks from that album that I liked. Weak and Powerless was just sooo "Weak" and "Powerless" The track from the Underworld soundtrack made that track amazing... Weak and Powerless [Tilling My Grave Mix] I think I heard that Wes Borland did the guitars on this track... one of my all-time favorites songs. Just listen to this!

Also, eMotive just sucked balls... the only song that was killer was Imagine.

Yeah, I really don't know what they couldve been thinking when they made that album The first time I put it in I was kind of in disbelief....BUT it did come with a DVD with a bunch of APC videos on it
