Ennui. I vote for ennui.
The most surprising thing about this thread is no one asked voted "is it still 1985 yet"![]()
Damn it...
I missed my chance, picked up an Imitation JB that arrived today (16.6k, 7.6H, Alnico V) but I got it in black....
Dooubblleee Kkkrrreeemmmmsss wouldn't look right in my non- PRS/JT LP clone...
You are so close to joining us you don't even realize it. Just one "L" away and you would be converted.then I just hit the black key and carry on with my life

When I buy DiMarzio's, they're either white or black; or both.

Flat Wounds
Out of phase (can you hear the spot?)
Left side is the Friedman IR-J - Channel 1 (Marshall Plexi-Ish)
Right Side is a DemonFx DH4-2 Channel 1 (it does a pretty good Clean Tone) and a Joyo Cab SIm
Backing track clipped from here:
I am going to go wash that Soul Glo out of my hair.... I feel...Dirty
Thanks!Oooooh this is an interesting take on sound from all the noodlez clips the last several days. I dig that. Do you have some sort of light octave effect on or something?
Ok, maybe it's the fuzz effect that my ears are hearing. Didn't sound like a traditional plain ol' clean or lightly overdriven sound. Thanks!
My entire setup is serious overkill, Neo Soul machine (NOT!)
Basically Dry Wet Wet Dry
EHX Volume Pedal- Fuzz- DigiTech FreqOut- Dunlop 536Q wah- home built Echoplex preamp I use to split the signal.
One side feeds the Friedman IR-J the to the Audio Interface Dry (panned Right)
The Other sign feeds a DemonFX DH4-2 into a Joyo Cab Sim (loaded with the Friedman IRs) to an A/B/Y splitter
A goes straight to the Audio Interface Dry (Panned Left)
B goes mono to EHX Stereo Electric Mistress out stereo to a DigiTech DD-8
The A side out of the DD-8 out goes to a JHS Octave Reverb to the Audio Interface (Panned Hard Right)
The B side out goes to a Arrmoon Reverb/Delay the Audio interface
The Guitar (That heavily modified Squier CV70s Stratocaster in the photo) is wired so when you goes to the Position 4 (Neck/Middle) it is out of phase, so it throws the funky nasal tone in there
Interesting... I never it the fuzz...Ok, maybe it's the fuzz effect that my ears are hearing. Didn't sound like a traditional plain ol' clean or lightly overdriven sound.
