Ableton Live ?

I'm trying to use Ableton's amp simulations. I place them on the track, make sure they are turned on and hit the record button on the track. Regardless of which simulation I use, I get the same clean tone. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Yes. I don't know what ableton is, but what i want you to throw it away and plug your guitar into a high gain amp and fucking crank it and make me a clip
