The bottom is going to drop out of the used Cameron modded Marshalls market I believe.

I doubt it. It seems the Cameron mods have settled in around $2,000. If anything the prices will go back up.

Exactly considering that all of Mark's modded Marshall's are all a little different, some are multi channel some are not including the Aldrich's.

I do look forward to hearing these new single channel ones, I had a single channel Aldrich and that thing was killer, you rolled the volume knob down and it cleaned up real nice so there was no need for a clean channel.

Thats what is cool about his modded Marshalls. He tweaks each on based on how it sounds... component differences, transformer diffferences, etc. Nothing like having the master personally doing the build.

I can see why they are not having Mark do these anymore, he spends a lot of time and hours on each one not just tweaking but playing through them. It just would not be possible for Brad/Rob to do all this stuff and have Mark mod amps on top of it all, I know Mark had been playing through each production CCV before they ship to make sure they sound right.

Its not feasible, efficient or even possible to have Mark hand do all the mods people want him to do. Much better quality, consistency and delivery to have Mark build one perfect golden example with his hands and then have one of the best amp guys in the USA (George at Metro) in the country reproduce it.

(we) Myself, Rob and Mark Cameron are collaborating with two of the best amp guys in the world, Dave Friedman and George Metropolois from Metro Amps to build these Cameron Mod amps to the highest quality and tone. They are gonna rule.

So does this mean Barrang is out? Will George be doing the future CCV's?
Or is George just doing the new ATOMICA because I'm assuming it will be handwired PTP rather than PCB?

Chuck

Glad to see things moving forward for you guys, especially Mark.

BUT...............ATOMICA? Come on.

cool man, I think you guys are really onto something here - you've put together an awesome team that can deliver some serious goods. This will be a popular booth at NAMM!!!

brad, if I were to order the jose attomica when would they be going out? and just to make sure , are u running the list or is jerry in charge again??

Isn't there already an Atomica by another amp builder?

You really do not know the answer??? wow......................

Mark is the one who ripped off the amp labeled Atomica, not Jerry.

You go through all the legal stuff Brad?

Some bands name being used............

The amp was someone else's property..............

..............and never returned.........................

Good luck!

Every amp has to come from something, Scott. Since Jose isn't with us anymore, I don't think it matters much to him. Besides, there are no patents on amp modifications.

Its not an original name, it's the name that was on the Marshall Jose Mod that came from the Jose estate who sold all of those amps to the music store Mark worked at all those years ago. Mark didn't end up with that amp, the music store owner sold it off. Mark just spent allot of time with it and took notes.

Never said anything about patents, just stating what many of us knew for many years. Mark found a great version and ran with it.

What booth # will you be in at NAMM?

Will be at the Lonnie Spector satellite NAMM Show Amp Show at the Ayers Hotel off of Katella. Lots of boutique makers setting up there where you can crank it up as opposed to the NAMM floor.
