aldrich pickups

Has anyone ever put the Bridge Aldrich in a Washburn N4 (Alder body/Maple Neck/Ebony board)? I just don't dig the Bill Lawrence bridge pup and have a spare Alrich sitting around that never got used. I want it to sound tighter in the bridge position for heavy gain styles.

I can get some amazing tones on an LP when I split them.

Agreed, took me a while to find the right treble bleed caps though

I got a pair in my Modern I bought used. The guy before me had them rewound down to 8k neck and 9k bridge by Jim Rolph I I think. I've been debating on getting a normal pair to a/b but I like what I got now. It smokes it just about everything I've plugged in into. Very good vol. knob roll off too.

Me too. Love the Aldrich bridge in particular split.

Never bothered with treble bleed caps, but I am a guitar volume all the way up type player...
