The Victory Kraken is certainly a divisive amp, but I am really getting into it. It has two channels - one based on classic Marshall sounds and the other on the 5150 - with shared controls but separate gain.

What I'm digging about it these days is that it is just so easy to switch to either channel and have one dedicated to your lead tones and the other to your rhythm.

The only challenge is a clean tone, the best that you can get is an edge of break up sound. The two master volumes come in handy in this situation.

I am really digging the 5150 tones in the same way I think a lot of metal guitarists say that a 5150 is all you really need for metal. It's freaking aggressive.

The surprise is that the Marshall channel also sounds pretty aggressive and rainy, and I could totally imagine playing Slayer using it.

This is the older version, a MKI, but other than a clean channel on Version 2, I really don't feel like I'm missing much.
