This is why I almost never watch videos. And before you ask, no, I didn’t watch this one either.

Job report that came out yesterday contradicts the premise and the real job market on the ground does too.

If you aren’t lazy or stupid, well, actually you can be stupid, I can get you a decent job right now. And that’s been the case for at least 7 years now, probably longer.

If you aren’t working it’s because you don’t want to.

I didn't watch it either. I saw Lowes was hiring. So is Black's BBQ. So is Red Lobster. Seems like restaurants in general are back in constant hiring mode. I could probably catch a job at any of those places if I pressed the issue but the time isn't right for me quite yet. I think what this boils down to is "the high paying job I want isn't hiring".

I've known many people that would rather sit on their ass than work a job for a few bucks an hour less than their target pay scale. TBH if this country just refused to work, to do anything, for a month, we would have a lot more bargaining power with our leaders, who mostly seem to just exploit American good will, labor, and tax dollars. Hope you are well today Floyd.

You can easily get a job with a number of underground construction outfits, most paying $30 or more to start. Some rando I met a few days ago has been working for a well known outfit around here for less than 6 months and he’s making over $40/ hr.

I'm only ever looking for part time work which seems to be the hardest to acquire around here. They wanna own you full time for $15-20 an hour plus mandatory weekends and holidays in Texas. I'm not really ready to go back to work until this winter anyways. I have a few things cooking this season that need to get done first.

All depends on what industry and what expectations one has.

Need $200k a year for entry level work, you’re fucked.

Want to grind and be useful, someone will hire you.

Too many pie in the sky ideas of what work should be. Entitlement and useless college educations make it worse.

Tons of work available in engineering and construction, although both of these require functioning, intelligent minds capable of collaboration and problem solving, making difficult decisions under pressure, and a real work ethic to succeed.

Those who earned degrees in Equity Studies or comparable trash are probably struggling, but then, they struggle with everything.

And obviously, low IQ chumps/professional Leftist "Protesters" aka Useless Eaters and the like shouldn't expect much from life.

Look at VB arguing in favor of a general strike. There's hope for you yet, comrade!
