Anyone use/used one of these? What were your thoughts on it?

I use one daily. It does what it does with simplicity and accuracy. The voltage in my music room runs high… like 125-126 volts. I usually bring it down to 113 volts.

Not much, from what I can tell. I just basically allows you to see the incoming voltage, you match that with the knob on top and then the one on the bottom reduces it by the percentage you choose. I've never tried a variac, and this seemed pretty simple and easy to use. It's a bit pricey though.

I bought mine used from an electronics supply house for $100.
