Mike named it this way on purpose, to separate the clueless (the "slow" people) from the cool (S.L.O.). If you pronounce it slow, you are slow and should have to send the amp back without a refund so it can be given to someone who has the taste and faculties to appreciate such a fine piece of gear.

It is S.L.O. As in, ESS-EL-OH. Hell... I think there's a video of Mike Soldano actually mentioning that people say SLOW sometimes and it's wrong. Somewhere on YT (which stands for YouTube, not YEET).
Who the F says SLOW? P.A.F. Is the same thing....calling it a "PAF" or even worse describing a pickup as being "PAF-EY" (which I've heard before) is straight up lame
