Well I have a competition smoker so I can get enough on the grill for this thing!! WOOT!!!

That is a man's grille!

3 weeks out!!! had to sign the contract for the clubhouse today and fork over the cash for rental!! LOL Also the new grill/smoker shipped today so next weekend will be the burn in for you locals if you wanna pre-bbq BBQ!!! :dude:

Mine wont have the huge cart, but will have legs and small wheels...cart was 700 bucks extra and I wont be moving it very often so it was a wash....

Getting REALLY close now....once again...figure kick off is around 11-12 time frame...early is fine, late is fine...I just cant come down to the clubhouse til the bbq is done..but the doors will be open!! LOLOL

You can bring anything you want, but there will be a LOT of stuff there already..LOL...but you are ABSOLUTELY welcome to bring anything that tweeks ur nugget....

I am so tweeked...cant sleep...worried about jacking up a complete TON of food...that there is enough room...that guys dont fly in from out of country just to be disappointed...and the list goes on...nerve wracking as all hell...

The Luxxtone guys have sent out Dave Freidmans personal guitar, one of the hollow teles, and possibly a limba machete with rosewood neck that they probably wont get back!!! LOLOL Should be a great opportunity for some east coasters to get a gander at them!!!


So I have been getting a ton of questions as to what people can bring....I will tell you what I plan on bringing...

40 - 50 lbs of pulled pork that I cook all night friday night(twice as much as last year for those that attended)

Saturday morning I do a Sams Club run and grab

70 or so small buns (couple of big bags from Sams Bakery)
2 tubs or so of potato salad
2 -4 big bags of assorted chips
1 vegetable tray
600 paper plates
300 forks
Probably napkins since last year we forgot and just grabbed a few rolls of paper towels

What you guys attending should bring...

A personal cooler of whatever you want to drink (beer, liquor, soda, water...its all good) I would supply it but its SUCH a personal thing!! LOLOL
If you want to bring some kind of side dish thats great...not a requirement...only if you like...if you are good with eating what I listed above then you are golden!! LOLOL


Music wise

Everyone always brings a few guitars...(ok..more than a few) LOL

a few guys bring amps...I know Wayne is bringing the East Amplification amp for sure...Ed has talked about bringing a portable PA...

I can bring down a SLO and 4 x 12 but not sure I am really wanting to haul all that down to the clubhouse along with all the rest of the stuff but I will if someone wants to check it out!! LOL
I can also bring my ipad, alesis i/o dock, and a set of monitors or if Ed brings that PA if anyone wants to check that out...ultra portable backup rig...

Egg is lit boys!!

And the first batch of meat on on!! Woot!! I will be throwing 5 more onto the other smoker in a few hours as they are gonna cook faster...I picked the best of the bunch and threw them on the egg...thats about 25-30 lbs of pork there...LOLOL Smothered in dizzy pig dry rub!! YUMMY!!!
