Annual North Carlolina BBQ, Beer, and Gear April 14th 2012

And another year down!! Man, I had a great time!! I REALLY want to thank all the guys that came out. We had a HUGE array of different players out there this year!! It was hilarious to watch a dead head start playing and all of a sudden someone doing metal licks right next to them!! LOL It was truly like having a bbq right in the heart of a crowded Guitar Center!! LOLOL

I REALLY wanna thanks all the guys that drove in, flew in etc...we had guys drive 8-9 hours (we had at least a few drive all the way from Cincinnati, South Carolina, Baltimore, Florida), a few flew in, and we had a BUNCH of locals!

Mark Fuqua of Motorave was the only builder who made it this year so hopefully some got to meet him again!

I also wanna give a big shout out to the guys at Luxxtone!!! They sent out Dave Freidmans personal guitar (HUGE Highlight as everyone who touched it just loved it!! ESPECIALLY that James Lugo guy). The Limba guitar is just CRAZY!!! Unlike anything i have EVER seen before! And they sent out a few others for guys to check out!! Those that got to play them make sure to let people know what you think of them!!

Here is a group shot we took at about 1:30 - 2:00 but I know a LOT of guys were coming and going the whole time...

Thanks for hosting Bill! I met a lot of great people, ate a lot of great food, and played a ton of killer amps and guitars. Like I told you before I left, your rackmount SLO was amazing!

Bill - it was great as usual. There were some great guitars, amps, and players. But the star of the show was the BBQ
