Any of you guys into Formula 1?

Kimi's history is that he's a great driver and a former world champion who sucked complete ass last year and got worked by his teammate who really came into his own. I know you have a huge hard on for Kimi, and that's cool, he's a great driver...but he's not going to dominate Massa like you say. They'll both be very good this year IMO. Can't forget about all the other guys on the grid though. Alonso, Vettel, Kubica, etc. There are a lot of guys that have the potential to win it all this year I think.

I like Alonso a lot. Probably the best car developer in the F1 right now. Can't wait to see Vettel in a good team because he made a couple of sensational races last year.. They should mmake all the cars weight as much when the drivers are in the car, IMO, because Kubica's so tall that he suffers from the weight that comes along.

We'll see how it goes but my bet's on Kimi.

I miss the 80s F1 rules.................there pretty much were none and cars were rumored to be putting out 1400+ HP with the turbo boost through the roof during qualifying.

There will never be another Senna, RIP.

MOTHERFUCKING PLUS ONE!

F1 is just a bunch of random drama now-a-days. lol Ferrari and fuel hoses lol

Your mom.

Yes, but I haven't been keeping up. :( Seems the race times near always conflict with other activities. The Speed Channel use to replay the races at 11PM Eastern or something like that, but I think they may have stopped that as they've been pushing NASCAR any chance they get....like the marathon NASCAR talk shows that seem to be on all the time. Not a NASCAR fan at all.

(Also into MotoGP, World Superbike, and sailing like America's Cup and other events which are near impossible to catch here in the US, worse than rugby schedules!)

The race this weekend is on live at 2:00 AM EST on Speed, but they're replaying it at 4:00 PM EST as well.

Sucks that they don't appear to be replaying the qualifying at all though, so I'll have to stay up and watch that at 2:00-3:30 on Saturday night/Sunday morning.

I'm a F1 fan. Borned and raised in Finland so I'm a Kimi supporter :) I will definitely watch the race in Australia.

I'm a big F1 fan as well. I'm pulling for BMW this year, Kubica and that "also ran" he teams up with. I like Alonzo too. Heck, I want any non-red car out there to win. :D

 for Kubica, he is a great driver
I hope BMW cars will be even better than in last season
and Robert will get more support from his team

I think Heidfeld would win some races if he grew out his beard.

I've been a fan since the mid '70's when I was a kid. Got the pleasure of seeing Niki Lauda, Ronnie Peterson, Gilles Villeneuve and the drivers of that era. Totally different sport back then. Unfortunately now it's not so much about talent but more about how much sponsorship money the drive can bring in. There's a number of drivers in Formula 1 right now that have no business even being in the sport talent wise.

Well, he got off to a great start "butt-raping" Massa by getting out-qualified yet again, something that happened very often last season.

That was the craziest qualifying I've ever seen though. Brawn GP 1 and 2...ridiculous. Red Bull looking very strong, McLaren looking hilariously bad.

Yeah I agree that Massa is the driver to beat at Ferrari.
Kimi last year didn't like some of the updates on the car and decided to race with the older versions of the parts. The team seeing his ass getting handed to him by his team mate decided to put all the updates back on the car after a couple of races and he gained his performance back.

Calm down, Mark, this is the first GP of the year. Kimi's car broke down during saturday's practise session and he couldn't do changes for his car for the Q. ;)

Well, you did use the term "butt rape," so I just expected Kimi to be slaughtering Massa right from the start?

EDIT: I wish Ferrari still had Ross Brawn. That dude is a genius.

Kimi will beat Massa this season. ;) Fuck the diffusors (sp?) give those three teams a huge fucking advantage. :D Cards have been mixed massively for this season, at least for the start of it. Big teams will come back but it'll take few races.
