Love them. They were just out here in Australia last week for Soundwave festival. Did I miss something? Have they splilt again? I didn't get the chance to see them (broke my foot 2 days before).

I have to admit, System of a Down was my favorite band for about two years, but they're really not good at all live. It's true, Daron is a shitty guitar player. He writes cool parts, but he can't keep a chord in tune, and can't get through a song without tons of flubs. Serj's vocals recorded are also quite awesome, but live he sounds like a nervous nasal old man trying to push out notes... it sucks.

True about the live bit. Never really came off nearly as tight as they do recorded. And hey, it's always a true testament to a bands' worth when it comes to how they lay it down live IMHO.

But their originality and bite are kickass.
