I have always loved this tune but didn't really know who they were. A few years ago Dream Theater released a cover of this tune that was really good too. What a great power trio that should have received more play. Go to the 5:50 mark to see how great these guys were:

I love Who’s Behind the Door, great tune. Love that BC Rich too !!!

Would be great to see a triple bill Zebra, Triumph, and Rush... what a show that would be.

I saw them shortly after they released their first record, so mid 80's. As I recall they were very good and the talent was evident. But I was more into heavier music at the time so they sort of came and went off my radar. Nice blast from the past!

I liked them back in the 80's. I saw them twice around 05-06 when I lived in Baton Rouge they played there often in a small club. They were still very good and played a lot of Zeppelin covers which sounded great.

Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush is virtually unknown. What a great player Frank Marino. He was ripping the hell out of Voodoo Chile in 1973 when he 18..

I saw Marino open for Ted Nugent when I was very young and was instantly a fan. Saw him a few times after that.

Double Live Gonzo

Me and some friends used to go see Zebra often since they played up here in the NYC/NJ area back in the late 80's early 90's. They were from Long Island, originally New Orleans before that. Aside from their own stuff they did GREAT live covers and Led Zep tunes.

I always heard that Zebra was the band that popularized the “....and now you better stop” <insert long pause here before starting again> in The Immigrant Song that everyone copies.

I've seen Zebra several times, but all with the last ten/fifteen years. They did some great shows at BB King's and did a full Zepp set after their Zebra set one night.

I like all four of the original albums, but the fourth is the weakest. Not sure what they've been to to recently.

I saw them back in the early 80's with Max Webster opening up for them in a bar on St Catherine in Montreal

Liked them in the 80’s. Saw them on a couple tours. Their live album is the best. I was a little disappointed a few years back when I ordered a CD from the website and Randy put his business card in the package to try to pitch his cellular service to me.

As far as the tunes, the production always seemed a little off (no low end), and some lyrics were goofy to me (“Bears”).

Very cool band, saw them back in late 80’s and always liked them. They’re still on my hard drive and get played whenever iTunes randomly selects them. Good stuff, shoulda coulda woulda been a lot bigger.

Growing up in Baton Rouge, Zebra was kinda required listening. Always liked them. Randy is a killer guitar player.
