Anybody in the U.S. buy from Canada?

I bought an Airis Savage drive direct, and they shipped immediately, via Canada Post. Tracking shows it arrived in the U.S. 5 days ago, and tracking hasn't updated since.

Question is, is that where tracking ends, and once in the U.S., you're on your own? Tracking no longer exists? I thought USPS then delivers... I didn't expect a quick process, but figured in 5 days there'd be some movement.

I hate USPS. I've had so much shit just "disappear" with them, it's not even funny.

Things get stuck in customs for a while. I imagine at this time of year it takes even longer. Also once it switches hands to USPS from canada post you need to check tracking on usps site.

Just check the same tracking number on the usps site. Once it crosses the border usps takes over. The Canada post tracking wont show anything after it crosses the border till it’s delivered.
It’s Christmas time so expect postal delays and border customs delays anyway.

Thanks! Left Chicago 12/11, on to next destination as of yesterday, so I may see it tomorrow or Saturday. Scheduled delivery was actually 12/14.
