That seems to be the standard on Quickrods.

My 2011 Quickrod has the same.

My Streetrod uses 50+50's throughout.

I used the 100+100 for the first node on the amp you modded for me... Still loving that amp. As are a few of my friends....

I thought about raising them to 100/100 in mine but just haven't gotten around to it. And I'm glad you and your buddies are digging the amp!

Why do you need a "kit"? The same components and parts are available from Valvestorm, Amplified Parts, Mouser, Digi-Key, etc. For iron, you've got Marstran/Heyboer. Simply get a B.O.M. together and order the parts yourself. You don't need someone else to package them together for you and charge you a premium to do so. No different from what Metro offered. If anything, Valvestorm might stop carrying chassis now because I think Metro made them?

George sold valvestorm ages ago. It has nothing to do with Metropolous and hasn’t been associated in a long time beyond the kit names.
 
It's sad to see George (or any boutique amp maker) call it a day.

I haven't read all of this thread...But I'm picking up on the general vibe.

Just to clarify: Are we now trying to somehow tie Trump to Metropoulos Amplifiers discontinuing production?

Nah. George mentioned Tariffs as one of the many factors impacting his business decision. Then when the red flag tag word popped up it started a few posts of derision blaming George's supposed mismanagement of his business for the closure. It spiraled down from there.
