Anybody see this...High Gain Jose 3 Monkeys Amp! Cool

Definatly...looks cool,along with the sufg green/crushed glass pannels..
So,when are stores expected to get the high gainer in?

We are busy with the first production run of our new 1x10 combo the Sock Monkey. The Zé is next in line, hope to have it out by summer.

I found this from last Sept. when our friend Brad Whitford was in the 3 Monkeys booth at the Southeastern Guitar & Amp Show playing the Zé. It was really noisy in the venue and shot by Oz with his phone, so in no way is this a representation of the way the amp sounds (also the Master on the amp was set pretty low). I just thought you guys might get a kick out of seeing Brad noodling around on a Frankenstein into the Zé.

I think RedRider, you were standing there when he did this?

Is the "Pull Clip" on the Master Volume knob a feature that increases Power Amp saturation so at lower volumes the Power Tubes are working harder- or sound that way ?

I've never seen this feature at least on the Master itself- seems unique-especially if it clips more at lower volumes- a cool idea.

Without revealing any NASA/Three Monkeys secrets- in practice- how does this work and sound ?

In the short video the Prototype sounded big , bold and clear with lots of bottom end-very promising.

I caught just a few seconds of it, as Danielle and I were on our way out to head home. We had met Brad in the hallways and said a quick "hey, how are you doing" but didnt want to monopolize any of his time as I am sure he was busy as all get out that day!! LOLOL (unlike you guys, who we chatted with forever about grilling out and stole T-shirts from!! Thanks again Greg!! Danielle wears hers to work ALL the time and gets asked a million questions about what the heck a 3 Monkey is??? LOLOL)

Absolutely will have all things Cameron and Friedman in the shop. Some guys might be afraid to bring things in that compete with other things. Not me, I say get all the best stuff I can find that I believe in and put it all in one spot and let the players come in and play everything and make the call. Thats what I always wanted in a store and never found. When you leave my place you will have no doubt as too what you like.

Precisely! If I buy a new amp, I also wanna first eliminate all the competition. Won't leave me wondering, and then I know i made the right choice.

All this Hoser talk, I had to go dig through 4 road cases and find my Cameron Jose. After not playing it for a while, it sure is nice.....It should blend nicely with some IIC+ too. Most likely gonna be some Metallica chops destroying the silence.
