I did a quick search but this site is too deep.. I know it has come up before but wondering who has actually built one? Doesn't have to be perfect as some sound escaping allows it to breathe but I'd be gunning for a 75% volume reduction. Wondering if you can share failures/successes/observations and maybe things like dimensions. Lots of videos on youtube but they aren't going to say " this thing ended up sounding like shit". I thought maybe enough space for a 4 x 12 but maybe a better play to go with a compact 2 x 12 with higher rated speakers so I can go one or the other. I'd put it on wheels and make it look good so that it fits into decor but it has to be worth it. But things like non parralel angles, a port etc... were these things significant or did a well sealed rectangle work well? My guess is that the boxiness we have heard in some clips comes from the box itself being too small and sounding bouncing all over.
Disclaimer: I have a Torpedo Reload and CAB - M. I could def do that but I also have a ton of mics and some pres and why would they just sit there doing nothing. Might as well be in a museum or sold if I am going to go with IR's as the one stop solution.
