I am still lusting for one, and the one I played a few times at the local music store sold, bummer. Anybody else get one, what do you think? What did you like about it, not like etc. When I played it at the store I just dialed in one cool sound and played. Were you able to dial in a lot of cool tones?

Any new clips?? post them, I would love to hear some new clips. Doug Rappaport got his Mzero sounding killer and that was only channel 1!!!

I have wanted to try one of these SO bad. I'll never even lay eyes on one around here. What is the feel on these amps like? Fast pick attack, slow, somewhere in between?

I love mine man. It's an early one. Single button footswitch for channel changing is all. Channel 1 is the star IMHO on this amp. It is bouncy and alive and with the drive switch engaged and the drive knob dimed, it has the gain of say early VH minus a tad. To really get it there, you need to boost it with a pedal just a tad, but damn is it sweet. I can cover just about everything we do in my band one this channel alone using the volume knob on the guitar. Plug a Strat into this channel and it is just astounding. Neck pickup Hendrix licks sounds fantastic. The overdrive channel is very good as well, kind of SLO flavored, but to me, to get it to sound great, you have to heavily readjust all the knobs, and channel one gives you such a toner boner, you'll end up disconnecting the footswitch entirely. An awesome amp man, mines a keeper, ain't going nowhere. If there is a negative on the amp I would say the taper on the volumes for each channel could be better. On 1, the volume comes on hard and vast! Moreso than any amp I've ever owned. Once you get your levels good, your fine but during a gig, if you need to readjust, you better have a steady hand or your gonna blow off everyone's eyebrows in the room!

^ so it's a SLO-type amp? Your description of the first channel could more or less apply to the SLO crunch channel, IMHO.

More dynamic and touch responsive over the Slo from what I recall. Kind of unreal in a way. It has similar dynamics as the Wizard rhythm channel but completely different. As Lanier posted channel one alone is worth the admission. It does it all.

I went to the amp show specifically to check out the Mzero, the Bottle Rocket and Curt's guitars (as well as drink beer with a couple of buddies) :D

Spent probably 20 minutes in the room, playing back and forth with the two guys who were doing the demos, and talking (with some interpreter help) with the owner.

I asked the one guy (Howie) about his demo where he was boosting, and was told that the newer ones had been tweaked, and definitely didn't need a boost (I didn't know what they were running in the loop), but I agreed, definitely no need to boost the current version.

The amps felt fantastic; way more gain than early VH in the version I played. Very smooth playing amps, with a great response, and great feel.

I never got to dial the amp myself, and don't what speakers they were running, but I only had one complaint. There was a certain high end frequency that actually hurt my ears; it only started to bother me after being in the room for a while at super high volumes, and I'm fairly certain it could have been speaker related. Other than that, I loved playing that amp!

Maybe the guys with me (Mark and Henry) could chime in, and give their take.

Certainly something I'd want to spend more time with, in a situation where I had some ability to tweak, and play through different cabs, but with the resale market being what it is, no way I'm taking the leap at 4K.

The guys at the show (including the owner) couldn't have been nicer.

Edited- meant Bottle Rocket, not Cherry bomb

I have one in order. With a boost (like in the vid with Doug Rappoport) and dual master.
I know the company for long time and already use his amps for a while. I can say he is a big fan of greenbacks, so probably the cabs were loaded with new current reissue.

That could explain it, as I'm not in love with greenbacks with certain amps.

Looks like there is two for sale in the classifieds, why haven't you bought one of them yet??

A little problem called lack of cash. If I had extra cash, I would buy one in a quick second!!

Any new clips!!

I got the amp this week, and already spent some hours of playing.
I can say is not a SLO based amp, but a british voiced inspired. The overdrive channel is hi-gain, and can do anything; i like thrash metal and progressive... At 2 o'clock have a lot gain with a good sustain, but not compressed and very touch sensitive. The single notes sounds huge!

The first channel is very versatile. Start with an almost clean and can reach a bluesy lead. All the gain know is usable, and have a boost panel for choice the base amount of distortion. Mine have a footswitchable boost, which i feel is like an hi-low input.

Right now i'm using a Marshall 4X12 with V30 and T75. (But have a 4x12 with GB 6402, which i not tried yet)
If i have to descrive the Overdrive channel, to me is like a modded Marshall meet Mesa Mark. Is a unique tone, have to check yourself.

Congrats!

I didn't get the SLO vibe from the Mzero, myself.

Post some clips if you have a minute; I'd love to hear it!

God ,I want one. That and the Hennings amps are basically the only two on my radar.

Played both at the LA Amp Show, and just ordered a Bottle Rocket. Seriously impressive amp, and I've been around the block.

Yup, DR's demos have basically sold me on these and the Friedman SS ;0
Zero chance of ever playing one here in Ireland plus they are v,v expensive ;(
Someday!!

Thanks!

It have a bigger and rounded bottom compared to the usual Marshall replica and hot-rod versions, but not as deep as a modern amp, like a SLO or Rectifier. Is tight but not stiff at all. Very punchy too.

After an earthquake wakeup, i played loud at 8 am this morning

There are a lot of nice clips already:

The builder himself (he have a lot of highs and presence in this clip)

Rock/Hard Rock

Fusion

Pop

Blues

I bought one of the M Zero Overdrive in the classifieds. I had an excellent experience buying it from ibzprestige. He was a great seller. The M Zero is straight freaking awesome! I will agree with one poster above the taper on the master volumes is very sensitive and does rise quickly after 1 on the knob. The feedback adjustment is awesome and affects both the feel and the character of the amp. It also affects the volume level some. Drive channel with the boost switch on, drive on 8, and boost foot switch engaged gets very boosted plexi. The overdrive channel has TONS of gain and more than I could ever need. I am liking it set at about 5 to 5.5. I can see why people compare it to an SLO some with the drive available in the overdrive channel and the feel it has with the feedback knob turned to the negative side, but it isn't exactly SLO. When you raise the feedback the amp is quicker feeling more like a Marshall. That's about all the review I can give right now since I haven't gotten to spend much time with it. If anyone has any questions let me know. I'll answer them if I can.

This actually really summarizes it quite well! I couldn't agree more.

One thing that really stood out with this amp was how the amp allowed the character of each guitar to come through. That was unreal about it. Mine sat next to a Wizard MTL and I agree it stood toe to toe with it. I think it had a wider bandwidth that the Wizard which made it seem just a little bigger sounding that the Wizard. The Wizard still had a little tighter low end and is no slouch   Overall I preferred the Wizard tone more but the Mzero was a really good amp also. The Onori transformers are just massive!

If they would come out with a cheaper version of just Channel 1, you could cover allot of ground right there alone. I didn't love the Z101 FWIW. Great build but a little too vintage for me. Low end was lose.

The ppimv in the 101Z had that particular tone these master types all seem to have that I don't love. At first, it sounds great with all the added gain from distorting the PI, but then there's something about that tone from the ppimv I don't like and I hear it with all of them I tried in various amps. Kind of like when you smell you first bad bush. You don't go back for more too soon.
