Kind of like when you smell you first bad bush. You don't go back for more too soon.

I was pretty much following you until this. That didn't stop my ass none, I went straight on back!

There's one on EBay for the low, low price of $3795 OBO! Go git it, big spenders!!! :D

...If they would come out with a cheaper version of just Channel 1, you could cover allot of ground right there alone.

...I didn't love the Z101 FWIW. Great build but a little too vintage for me...

If I'm not mistaken, the MZERO Standard is channel one of the MZERO Overdrive...so there you have it. And it is relatively less expensive, perhaps 82% the cost of the MZERO Overdrive.

I suppose to each his own with regard to vintage tones vs more modern tones, but I do see how blues players or volume knob riding pedal board maniacs could really like the 101z or the z35 Mezzabara's.... there was something about the z35 I tried that was really very cool...the tone was just perfect, and really had a nice roll back on the guitar volume and the amp was absolutely silent noise wise..not even a hint of a modest hiss. I could see hitting that with an RC Booster or OCD and being able to play any blues gig, and likely right into classic rock easily.

Company is working on getting the Master volume to be smoother, i agree that just on 1-2 the amp gets loud. The Dual Mod version of the Mzero gives more control overall, but again, better Master volume sensitivity on it's way. The posts describe the amp well, i myself use the Ch1 a lot, because i can get a lot of different gain settings from it, between using the guitar volume knob and a boost/overdrive or distortion pedal in front. With the gain at 5-6 in Ch 1, the amp stays mid-clean at full volume, cleans up turning down the guitar volume, and roars with full guitar volume and a pedal in front. If you turn the gain all the way up ( Ch1 ) the amp has a natural distortion that covers a lot of ground. Ch2, the way i use it is...set it and forget it! Find the right amount of gain for full aggressive leads and use the guitar volume for anything in between. The difference here is the extra tube gain and compression you get from it, makes playing smooth, dive bomb and harmonics galore.
