Anyone had a FR Speedloader or GFS Fastloader?

Hey everyone,
Has anyone had a Floyd Rose Speedloader or more importantly, a GFS(Guitar Fetish) Fastloader? What are the pros & cons of this? Will it stay in tune or will it be a major fail, especially the GFS Fastloader? I am planning on building a guitar and trying to save a lil cash. Will I be better served to get a Floyd Rose Special than a GFS Fastloader? Or will it be best just to hold out and get an Original Floyd? Please weigh in and thanks for the replies!!!!

not a fan of the speedloader systems, and actually i prefer gotoh trems over floyd rose. cheaper, but better made and you dont have to worry about that damn arm nut coming loose all the time.

plus i think they sound better/operate more effeciently.

FWIW i did have a speedloader system of some sort on one of my older ibanez models. i didnt like it much at all.

dont cha need those "special" double ended floyd rose strings for the FR speedloader ?


The GFS fastload uses regular strings

I got 2 chrome GFS Fastloaders - work great & sound as good as
the Jackson Logo trems on my other axes
