anyone had any issues with Jet City reliability?

it's becoming more and more prevalent....I hate it.
 
cool budget amps IMO. All you need are better tubes for them and a reliable rebias.
transformers, parts (except the indicator lamp) and the board are verywell made.
IMO.

Yup, me too, it doesn't bother me that much as long as people don't start dissing out non boutique gear like thegearpage elitists.....

A nice american strat (less than $1,500) and a ince Fender reissue or nonreissue (less that 1,000) will get you an AMAZING tone....you don't need a 4,000 amp and a 3,000 guitar.
 
Don't get me wrong... I love my JCA100H. If it's just a bad tube I'll be way happy cuz that's an easy fix. Great-sounding amp--got mine used for $400 so no complaints here. I'll do a re-tube and see what happens. Any suggestions on what glass to install?

Even better--I'm steppin' up the JCA100H to KT88's and see what happens. Drew (FastRedPonyCar) did this to his JCA and it sounds GREAT!!
