Not recently, anyways. Used to be that certain groups would be in certain neighborhoods and everything was fine. But not anymore.
Where i grew up, there was a huge Lebanese presence and no problems.

Around here the mob was Lebanese and we still had no problems. In fact things were a lot better when the mob was running it.

You're absolutely correct imho. I think it was earlier than that, but that might be geographical.
