Axe Fx Direct recording question...

Right, I guess when I think of getting into recording music, having the option for Mic inputs and such come to mind, though if you are just needing to record one line instrument in at a time, then yeah, the stock audio input might just tide ya over.

When I record my band I just use a Korg D3200 and do 12 inputs at once :D Then I import the wav files into my pc and use the axe to overdub any guitar or bass fixes. I got the Korg so I could record 'on site' easier than lugging an interface and a PC. It's not the best solution by any means but it ain't bad!
