Um, I find the term cork sniffer, as indicated in your second meme, slightly offensive. I challenge thee to a dual to be settled by who can coax the sweetest mids out of their boutique amplifier whilst playing a ii V I progression on their Benedetto Pat Martino signature model over a pretentious drummer's beat. I expect you to be here by high noon tomorrow, lest ye forfeit.

I watched another video where the discussion was about void-free plywood and how big a difference it made compared to regular plywood. I figured I'd see what was available and I'm glad I did because the stuff at Home Depot and Lowes has terrible reviews so I ordered some B/BB rated, 13 ply Baltic birch from a place that seems to care.

The place is called "MakerStock". I bought the tolex, grill cloth, handles, corners and glue from MojoTone.

This cabinet is for a very loud, clean, Fender twin style amp so I'm using a EVM15L side-vented bottom and an EVM12L half-open back top in one 2 foot by 3 foot enclosure.

Have you built a 4x12 cab? Part of me wants to build my own.

I have a Cornford 4x12 in pine. It’s beautiful. Martin Kidd the designer was of the belief it tamed harsh frequencies in V30s.
I have the Kotzen 2x12. I believe he had the Cornford cabs made with sides pine, ply baffle board and back ply as well... maybe birch.

That sounds cool. I watched a few demos of the RK100 recently and would love to get my hands on one now.

I have two 4x12'; one is birch and the other is pine

The speakers in each are completely different so I have no idea what if any difference the cab construction is making

I love them both :inlove:
