Between the Buried and Me!

"They are fucking insane! It's like Albert Lee X Slaughter to Prevail with Van Halen, Zappa, System of a Down, and post SSRI-Devin Townsend meets Extreme II Pornografitti alchemy plus sprinkles of schizo meds insane Hot Topic circus clown mall metal. Did I leave anything out?

Oh! and horns! A little Huey Lewis and the News! HA!"

The Sex Pistols.

I heard a Skid Row cover of "Holidays in the Sun" on the "Stairway to Heaven, Highway to Hell" album of cover tunes by various bands and thought "That's a Pistols tune?! Wow. I need to check them out." I bought the "Never Mind the Bollocks" album and it was (and is) freakin' amazing. I had heard a total of 2 punk songs in the very early 80's and both songs SUCKED and so I wrote the entire genre off. Hey, I was young. :dunno::doh:

My favorite tune on that record is this one...it's a slam bang ass kickin' ROCKER... IT'LL RIP YER FACE OFF!

Every Time I Die
They dropped Radical. It was fucking awesome. Then they broke up lol. Good thing there are like 8 album before Radical.

Heard the song…”Mummified in Bong Water” on Liquid Metal the other day…opened me up to a whole new band… Cannabis Corpse…. pretty killer stuff for a band with all their songs about weed. I like their clever song titles that play off of other classic death metal songs.

I’ve been slowly getting into cannibal corpse. Been checking out some bass covers and man Alex Webster was a beast!

I always thought U2 were... not good for most of my life. However, I never knew they wrote the song New Years Day. That is only U2 song I like. It's mostly the bassline and progression I like, but I do like the guitar work as well. Would I want to see a concert of theirs for one song? Hell no.

........ and the last time, I'm sure.
I’m trying to figure out what’s going on ….. it’s like acid vocals in top of a guy playing classic rock with an 80s Jackson Marshall tone
Quote confusing on first listen yes

That's an acquired taste IMO.
