Bands you got into way too late

My Mom ripped a Ratt poster off my wall when she was trying to figure out what was going on with me (which was nothing btw). I was like Mom, you picked the least Satanic band in history.

Too funny. Was mostly raised by my Grandparents who were super conservative. When I was about 14 or 15, down came the NKOTB and kitten posters and up went NIN and Marylin Manson. :ROFLMAO:

Monster Magnet 6th album
Clutch 6th album
Mastodon 3rd album
QOTSA 3rd album
Kyuss well after they disbanded

I remember Clutch coming out, and a buddy of mine loved them back in the early '90s. I was way more into thrash, grunge, and punk back then, and it didn't click. Then when Blast Tyrant came out I checked it out, and loved it. Then went and revisited their back catalog and love all of it.

I gotta say Blast Tyrant and Robot Hive/Exodus are my two favorites of their entire catalog. There was something in the water on those two. Blast Tyrant is loaded start to finish with ass kicking hard rock songs, and Robot Hive/Exodus is a trippier more diverse album while still loaded with total bangers.

Early Dylan. The later stuff never moved me, but when I finally heard the 2 Greatest Hits albums, long after they were released, there was a lot of good songs on there.

Also Rush, got Clockwork Angels in 2013 and it was great. First spark was Test for Echo on the radio back in 1996. Ged said he thinks CA is their best album. I kind of agree, it just works as a whole.

Sex Pistols. I'm in my 60's and I didn't hear any of their songs until I heard Skid Row do a Pistols cover in the early 90's. I liked it so I bought the first Sex Pistols album. WHOA!

Here's the cover:
