Yes. Apparently there's a minimum post requirement. Weird...

Yes, he wants active participation on the board, not just lurkers. If you don't post often enough, you will be banned. Just the way the board is ran.

That is the norm...if you email, you will probably be let back on but it will happen again if you dip..Trace told me you need to post something every-other visit. That's a lot of posting and you'll say +1, hngd and glws a zillion times

I really like the USA Charvels forum and there are some great guys there. My problem is sometimes I try and pop in and see what's going on while I'm at work and then I get dragged away and can't post. I got banned for it. They re-instated me so now I only pop in if I know I am going to have time to not just read cool threads but to post in them too.

Same thing happened to me over there a few years back. Cool forum but definitely a weird rule to have...

It ceased to be cool to me when I realized that 10+ of the most active posters were all Tracy...agreeing with himself and talking shit on his "enemies". He's been one of the most competitive, devisive guitar collectors that I've ever known.
I miss a few folks there, but anyone who supports that site by adding content is abetting Tracy's mass fraud...fuck that.

I have been banned and then permanently banned. The guy is a douche. It is a cool site but he is a nazi. He banned me the second time because I basically called him out on his silliness. I knew I was gone when I did it but it felt good ha. Everyone I know that is on that site has been banned once. Dude needs to chill.

Banned here last year or earlier this year for not posting enough. Reinstated after I asked why.
Lots of good guys there and some good gear.
Hey - it's his "house", his rules. If I don't like it, I don't have to visit. I have no problem with that.

Having said that - not sure if I got banned yestdray - couldn'ty log on from work comp at lunchwill check when I get home.
I have lots of real life stuff going on, so...

I understand it's his place, but that place would cease to exist if people stopped going there...essentially making those who continue to contribute an accessory to his fraud and insecurity. I'll simply can't grasp why good people would continue to contribute to that.

Gotta be honest with ya Rupe - I missed out on all the drama that went on with him and others. I initially only went there after the GMW board s**t the bed, and when I found my pre-pro Charvel and was looking for info. I've never been censored, nor do I really read tons of posts to see if he censors or has other accounts that he back sup. I fully believe that if you are saying it, however.

Please do me a favor (not being a wise ass or calling you out - our interactions have always been cool and we see eye to eye on a ton of stuff, and I prefer to keep it that way) - inbox/PM me with the details so I can get educated if you don't mind
