BC Rich fans inside

I've been a huge BC Rich fan going back to my pre-teen years seeing Joe Perry with his Bich. Fast forward to my teen years and my first "good" electric...a shorthorn maple Mockingbird. A short while later I bought my first new guitar...an '84 Stealth. I sold the bird, the Stealth was stolen and I haven't owned a traditional BC Rich since (went through some Gunslingers). I would love to find the Stealth someday...I'd know it in a second as its the only one they built with certain attributes that it has (per Bernie Sr in '88).

I always dug the looks of the stealth but heard they nosedive. Is that what you found?

I wonder if since they are trying to return to the former glory of BC Rich if they made any effort to get Bernie Jr. involved ?

This to me was the ULTIMATE in metal back in the 80's.
I am sure most of the old guys here remember this one.

Never seen Fast Eddie with a BC Rich in hand.

Yes Bernie Jr has done a run of guitars for them

Yeah, definitely...it wasn't noticeable while playing but you couldn't take your hand off the neck. It was an amazing player though.

Laars I always dug the JP photo but also one day I was sitting in my sisters room listening to some records and I see this ad in the back pages of a guitar mag. It had the blue/grey Warlock thats in the 83 catalog. I thought it was the coolest guitar on the planet. I sent a few bucks in the mail for catalog and that was it. Once I got that catalog I was hooked.

By the way killer score on that badass Mock!

Thanks...... I remember that ad. Always wanted a Warlock but never got my hands on one.

There are some models that are deal steals. I had a NJ series Eagle neck through, cloud inlays, that just rocked. I should have kept it, great guitar. I think they can be found under $400.

Jim! always wanted to get around to showing you my baby! my #1 Guitar since... 1983!

Ihave probably bought and sold 30 guitars since... this one always stays!

I'm sure quite a few folks here have never seen one of these...

A (Modified over the years) 1982 Mockingbird 2. Yes, this was a production model. it was to compete with the trem loaded git's of the time. Neck thru, all mahogany.
Originally had a (Less flamboyant!) brass pickguard, 3 single coils, and a fender style trem.

I added the Kahler, Duncans (Custom/lil 59/cool rails), 14! way switching, and Priest inspired pickguard...

sounds killer into my marshall jmp serial 6669j!!

My first guitar was a rich. Nj warlock, very solid guitar

This is my 75 Seagull. I love it the playability is fantastic and it stays in tune like no other. My peterson stobostomp is really touchy and moves around with other guitars and this one when I go to tune its always very close and stable its a beautiful thing.
