BC Rich Gunslinger origins

I've read this was designed by Grover Jackson after he sold Jackson.

Anyone else hear this?

I'm pretty sure Grover built the newer USA reissue ones at least. Dunno if he designed it in the first place though

I think it was Dan Lawrence (GMP guitars) who designed it. I think some of the GMP crew did time at Charvel and BC Rich. Could be wrong though.

It was Glen Matzjel (spelling) I believe that designed it, the story is on the web somewhere, in two parts.

Grover didn´t leave Jackson until 1990 or so, I think the Gunslinger was around before that.

I got this in maybe 88-89. Unfinished neck. Some asshole kicked in my front door and stole it when I was gone. ?

I miss my Gunslinger. Was stolen many years ago. It was black with pink and blue paint splatters ?
