Are the old one sounding as good as the new ones ? (simple clean vs full clean ?)
I'm trying to find some good good clips but nothing really satisfy me.

Simple clean has no eq. It sounds decent but far from great.

While simple clean has no EQ, full clean is far from "full" as there is no midrange control.

Simple clean plus a basic stompbox parametric EQ is all you need to make it sound great. YMMV

I got the full clean on mine to have the option of eq.
Full clean = Fenderish
Simple clean= Voxish

I have the simple clean on mine - it's alright, but I didn't buy this amp for the clean sound!

Full clean is essentially the board out of a blackface Fender...treble, bass, and volume. It's arguably the most used clean tone of all time...and all you should need for just about anything.

I quite like the simple clean on mine ... at no point did I think I wanted it to sound any "more" then it does ... :dunno:

Can you crank the master volume on the clean Channel and get an overdrive sound out of it ?

My simple clean sounds great! I think less is more, and it's totally useable!

Simple clean sounds really good. Nothing lacking.

I agree, for having no control it sounded "dialed in" to me. :)

I have the simple clean and played the full clean at messe. To me they sound the same, just that the full has bass and treble controls. I like the clean channel on the smallbox better, but as an effects platform the BE100 clean is good.

From what I was told as a result of the manufacturer change the newer amps are not the same as the older with the newer having updates that are supposedly positive and not just with the clean channel.
