BE-100 Which OD pedal

I've used the following:

Ibanez TS-808 re-issue (keeley modded) - Adds more crunch for the BE, a good solo boost for the HBE side.
Aluminum Falcon (Klon clone) - Sounds good, adds more saturation to the amp.
Clark Gainster - great pedal, but with the BE it is comparable to the TS
Arcane Analog Scull Master (rangemaster with an OC44) - AMAZING. Really the best pedal I've used with the BE-100. Check it out here:

I just ordered a second Scullmaster with an OC139, really looking forward to it, hope is sounds as good as the OC44 version but with a different flavor.

Guys you should try an Empress ParaEQ pedal with the BE-100, You would be blown away!!!

Not familiar with these but are you boosting with it as this thread pertains to or just running it in the loop the change the amps eq?

If it is the later I have no interest in changing the tone of my BE 100 as imho it does not need it, darn near perfect the way it is

I agree with you,the amp it self its almost perfect. But to achieve a more accurate sounds of some artis i'm after,there its always some tools that help you get there. And That's why I love the paraEQ this pedal won't color your sound only reshape it to my like, enhancing or cutting Frequency's to get closer to the sounds from some of my favorites like George Lynch,Warren Demartini,Gary Richrath ,even get some vox "Brian May",Mick Ronson,Vito Bratta.Also help you to boost and kick a bit the power section of the BE at Bedroom levels to get more clarity. heck there its a lot of thing you can do with this pedal..The point here,is to let everybody know you don't always need an Overdrive an EQ like this one,could be what you need..

I agree with above - tried a Koko boost into my BE100 on the weekend (awesome pedal by the way) but the amp just didn't need it!

One of the best overdrive pedals I have used with amps is the Way Huge Pork Loin. It sounds great. Used by Bonamassa. Also, Dave Wiener uses the Pork Loin with his Friedman BE-100 too!!!
