Holy Crap!!!! Dude, that thing sounds amazing as a boost! When you started playing the Loudness riff, it sounded so close to the original that I could smell the hairspray and sushi!! :)

Seriously though, that just sounds amazing. Man, I'm so glad I got one of these.

Don't even!!! LOL! You have one of the best sounding amps on this board in your SAT modded SB!

Sounds killer, where do you have the gain and gain trim pot set fro the boost clip ?
thanks! I have the internal trim at 12:00. Gain dial for the boost was all the way off. Other knobs were close to noon except for the bass dial, rolled that back a bit because of the speakers I'm running through (55hz blackbacks - massive beef).

Thanks Romanian! Funny thing is, all these clips were tossing up are EARLY! I KNOW I can tweak some more and refine it - like the loudness clip, to get it balls on with the original, I think mine could use a HAIR more sizzle and verb and it'd be a bullseye!

Definitely worth the money!
Agreed. A mere drop in the bucket to attain this tone.

Works well as a boost also. Sounded great.
Thanks Dave. Congrats on the launch, hope these will be a great run for you.

Awesome sampling of clips Crunchity!

Got my BE-OD today, and while I'm still dialing it in, I notice it has a ton of hiss. Is this normal?

I`m one of the few using mine as a boost and when I was messing around with the gain and internal pot getting it dialed in yes there was a ton of hiss at few settings. Now the way I have it dialed in as a boost I`m getting very little hiss. I was thinking If I were to use this as a standalone distortion the hiss would be unbearable

Thank you AndyK, Aidan!

No hiss issues here, and mine was default with the trim dimmed, and I still found it no different than any other high gain source I've had (amps or pedals). I've since lowered my pot to 12:00 and run the gain knob around 10:00 - 11:00. To be fair, I do have an old Hush unit in my loop, so I NEVER notice hiss lol (I don't use the 'noise reduc', it's off, I simply use a gentle gate to taper off when I roll the vol off).

In the next day or two I will make a quick TEST clip with the pedal and SmallBox. I'm gonna lay down a simple doubled rhythm, one side will be the BE channel of the amp (set for a mean crunch ala my sig tune/intro - which is actually 100% SmallBox tones, no other amps used in that track), the other side will be the pedal w/clean channel and then I'll also drop a little lead rubbish centered with something (the pedal + clean channel, maybe the BE channel of the amp with the Timmy, etc, bottom line is it'll be a mixed bag of those sources - and we'll see for shits and laughs who can call the parts right).
