Supposedly some finished guitars from the shop popped up on ebay but they were not finished or given BRJs approval and are not worth what they had been priced on ebay.

Thanks for reminding me of the 2k took from me...

hahaha...sorry about that!
Did you ever sue?
if not, why not?
Did you try to get your money back via any other avenue?

It's not financially profitable to sue over the amounts they he owes people. There's no way to collect, he filed bankruptcy.

No, I didn't. That costed more money then I lost. I did want to do something else :gethim:

From what I understand, the old BC Rich company used two teams of guys in Mexico for fretted body blanks, one was the better "A team" and the other was like their "B team." I believe Bernie Jr. used the "B team." The "A team" BC Rich used had disbanded by that time, I think.

Anyone who thought Bernie Jr. was building anything wasn't very familiar with BC Rich. I saw posts from people thinking that he did build stuff, but I was afraid to say too much explicitly because I didn't want anyone to come after me for libel or something stupid.

Bernie Rico Jr quality was exceptional from 2002 - 2010. Then it took a nosedive from 2010 on, the same year he dumped all his dealers, went direct, and started the Black Friday run. I certainly knew they were made in Mexico by the same luthiers who made BCRs, but was never aware of A and B grade teams of varying quality. If Jr. changed teams around 2010 it would certainly explain a lot.

I think I was one of, if not the last one to get their guitar from the BRJ Black Friday run. I thought I was going to be screwed too until all of a sudden I got a short e-mail from Bernie saying it was done and where to send it. Even more lucky is that with the exception of a couple small cosmetic imperfections, it is ridiculously killer.
