Thats a standard?? Gat Damn...

For me it was pedals and studio gear:

Keeley Compressor
Keeley Katana Boost
Keeley Fuzz

Audio Technica AT4040 Condenser
Logic Studio 9 upgrade from Logic Express
KRK VXT6 Studio Monitors
Superior Drummer Upgrade from EZDrummer
Apple Magic Trackpad
iMac 27" i7 for the studio.

5150 III- This thing has ended up on almost every recording I've done this year.

2010 Recto- Some people say there's no really difference, but perhaps I just got lucky. This thing is thick, it can grind, and it REALLY covers a ton of sonic ground.

Empirical Labs Distressor- Works wonders on just about anything you put through it.

Duncan Custom- My favorite passive, ever.

Too many single items to list, but everything in the rack rig was purchased this year (including a GC Pro, not shown). It's not completely done, but it's close.

P.S. 2010 isn't over and I'm not through buying. Jackson Dinky DK2 on the way and I'm pondering a Marshall (or clone) and a minimal pedal board for times when the rack is just too much :D

- Two David Thomas McNaught single cuts and just custom ordered a third one.
- The Bogner's are just production stuff...........except for the BogShall. But, my Fortin will be here before the end of the year according to Mike. The "Bad Blood" Moose Knuckle mod is going to be the mother of all amps.

I sold almost everything I own to concentrate on one particular rig, and put the rest of my money into college. I think the best purchase I've made this year was switching to Vader cabinets (formerly used Mesa Rectifier oversized). There's some magic 'oomph' to them that I'm absolutely addicted to, and while the Eminence Legends have something of a flat response when compared to standards like Vintages 30s, it suits the style of music I play perfectly. There does seem to be a bit too much bass coming form somewhere, which may be form my solid state amplifier, but I think the EMGs I'm getting soon will be a solution for that.

uh, cab?? lol

I bought tons of stuff... Over the top, really. Amps, guitars, accessories, stomps, software, speakers, cables, tubes, everything....!!

But if I had to narrow it down to something that really blows my mind? Well, it'd be the 20thA XTC w/ EL34's and my Creation Audio Labs Mk.4:23 Pro boost pedal.

Seriously, the latter of these two items gives me wood. And it's just this simple little stomp, but it's off the hook!!

So there
V.

Also the best purchase of my lifetime....my Morris Perplex'd.

I bought a ton of shit this year but the best thing is probably either my Bernie Rico Jr. Jekyll 7 string or my Fryette Fatbottom 412s.
