I have been pretty tame this year. This is the one thing I got that is getting constant use though (pic taken before it was completely unpacked and my kitten was inspecting it for me).

2010 was a slow year, but I got a Cantrell wah that I like a lot. Also got an Anderson H2+. Killer pup.

Is that the guitar in your avatar? That looks bad-ass - can you post a larger picture? Who did the work?

Well thats what the ebay ad said.  Is there a way to really tell? Maybe by the serial number? It does have a blank truss rod cover, which I know the "premium plus" models had, and I know that top would be more likely to show up on a premium plus. But it has a 60's neck, and to my knowledge the premiums have 50's necks.

I used to have an '05 standard which also had a blank truss rod cover.. same finish too, but the top didn't even compare to that one. Looks great

I'd say my best purchase was my cameron modded JCM 800.

Although, if I get my amp back from Dave Friedman this month, that could change :scared:

Traded my Egnater M4 for a Diezel Einstein. It's been my main amp since..

Slip for boat

Yes having no more gas for music gear pays off
I've bought nothing this year....except for a set of strings for my 7 string a couple days ago and some strings earlier in the summer.....

bought lots of stuff for the Chevelle though. :)

The only two things I "bought" are my Sheraton and my White Box and I'd have to say the White Box 4x12 was the slightly better purchase. That cab kicks all KINDS of ass.

Considering the list of really cool things that you purchased this year, I would have to respectfully say "bite me"

Do I count the stuff I bought, sold and now regret no longer having?.....

Yep, Thanks dude! Here are some more pics of it. The guy's name is Randy he is out of Denver, Colorado. Very pleased with his work. A buddy of mine owed me $ so he hooked it up and I had no out of pocket $.

That is cool as hell

This year I made my biggest gear purchases. Diezel Einstein and a PRS Mira. I wanted both of these really bad for at least two years, but I stupidly went for other stuff, lost money on resale, and finally got these. Next year I have a Tele and possibly a Strat in my plans, but only if I'll raise enough cash to get some top notch ones.

I guess mine would be my RGT220A. That's really the only new thing in my rig. Need a new wah though...

Doesn't seem like enough of a difference in sound alone to justify getting one or the other, but if I didn't already have a recto I'd buy the 2010 for the series loop and the adjustable wattage per channel.
yeah, it's definitely still a recto, no question. I wouldn't go swapping for it if I was happy with one I had already. For me personally however, it seems easier to dial in for my tastes. It's more about where I can take the settings and still be usable for me, rather than how different they sound with the same settings. I'm sure a lot of it has to do with the specific one you get too, just like previous models.
