I wouldn't doubt he used them but I've always heard they were 100 Watt Plexi's, SLP's and JTM45's in the studio. I mean Angus and Malcolm went back to using Marshall's live after using Wizards for years. I guess sometimes ya gotta change things up.

Yeah, what I've always heard was that they used Leads, Super Leads, JTM45s, and JTM50s. To me, it sounds like it, too. The mids are thicker and the bass isn't as pronounced as it is on For Those About to Rock or Flick of the Switch. BIB sounds closer to their previous albums than it does their later work, at least to my ears.

Huge net you are throwing here. Most other amps you can probably define. A 2203 can be used and has been used in so many different ways. For example two vastly different that I love, Angus Back in Black vs Mastodon.
+1
The 2203 has been used on countless recordings, for probably every genre of guitar music.
I'd be willing to bet that it's in the top 5 of most recorded amps, ever.

Jeff Healey's tone on Roadhouse and at Halifax is 🔥.
White Zombie La Sexorcisto, Black Crowes SYMM, Pearl Jam 10, The Cult, Big 4 Metal bands...
Basically any good 80s/90s rock band used the 2203, and sounded different from one another.
It's a great base to build a sound on.
