Live and Loud is best.
Which remaster were you listening to the 1995 version where the 2002 version ? I think 2002 version sounds pretty bad, just overly loud and compressedAlso, I listened to the remastered version of S.I.N. tonight, and it sounds a lot different than the original. I was never the biggest fan of the production of the original No More Tears, but this remastered version is worse. It sounds like it lost the 3-D sound the original had, and is more compressed.

Well, I did not know until tonight that there was a newer version uploaded 3 years ago on Ozzy's YT channel. Honestly, it doesn't sound "horrible", but something about it sounds "generic" to me, anyway. It also sounds like they tried to remove a little bit of that early 90s polish on the album, which I'm not against. But you can judge if you like the newer mix better or not. The guitars sound bigger, but not quite the same.
I just noticed that several Ozzy songs have different titles now. S.I.N. is now known as "Won't Be Coming Home", and Devil's Daughter has an extra "(Holy War)" added to the title. What's the deal here?
Ya they did change stuff . WeirdI just noticed that several Ozzy songs have different titles now. S.I.N. is now known as "Won't Be Coming Home", and Devil's Daughter has an extra "(Holy War)" added to the title. What's the deal here?
Ozzmosis was great . Just needed a couple more heavy tracksNo Rest for me .. Zakk is on fire the entire album. When I got it I loved how heavy it was on the back of The Ultimate Sin (which a fucking LOVE)... love tears as well but not as much as No rest
100%His best tone was no rest
Awesome track but yes on the original cd it was just called S.I.N.....I was in Ozzy tribute mode and was looking to post this track and was surprised to see the title had changed, really too shook up to pay much attention to if it sounded different...."Hero" as it's called now...was also hidden track on the original cd, love that song.... For me also, I'm not a Randy Castillo fan either, I know alot like him but never been much of a fan. Plus his hi hats are buried on both No Rest and No More. Weird.Hero is a great song. Probably my favorite on that album.
I suspect the reason No More Tears might not have aged as well is probably again, due to the weird slick production that put on that record. The songs are very good, but the polish gets weirdly tiring sometimes on the ear. I think they did remove some of it on the remaster though.
I hate it when someone says something like "the hi-hats are buried" because I never noticed it before and now I'll never NOT notice it againFor me also, I'm not a Randy Castillo fan either, I know alot like him but never been much of a fan. Down to Earth is probably underrated, but really suffers from having no songs written by Zakk.Who picked Black Rain ? That’s a unique choice ?
No one likes Down to Earth
That was me, first Ozzy album I ever listened to so picked it to be sentimental more than anything. Always loved Black Sabbath but never knew a single Ozzy song that wasn't Crazy Train before Black Rain came out, which was shortly after I started getting into metal.Who picked Black Rain ? That’s a unique choice ?
It’s so damn good . Though a is no more tears . But no rest is unique af100%
