I will add that the amp sounds great even if it is ugly.

He sent me a refund which in my book clears his good name and restores confidence that he will handle misunderstanding's with honor.
I read the description as a "Mark Cameron" build when it was Eric's intention of selling an amp that was built to the exact spec of an Aldrich/Jose. Misunderstanding and I am ready to move on.
Thank you Eric

Not so fast Mr Chippy. With all the wrangling you had to do to get your money back....I'm glad you did, but "clears his good name and restores confidence". ?

Yes, Eric's name should be cleared. One lesson that should be learned here. If it looks and smells like a turd........
Most of us know what real Cameron amps and his mods look like. If something looks a little "off", just ask more specific questions. Like, "Hey do you have any documentation that this amp was built buy Mark Cameron?" Or "Was this amp really built by Mark Cameron?". I am sure Eric would have answered those questions honestly and this mess would have been prevented. I do agree that the ad was misleading, but come on.........the amp looked nothing like something Mark would build especially with a new "CAMERON" logo. Curiosity should have been raised and more specific questions should have been asked IMO. Glad it all worked out though.

It did say that it was a ground up Cameron build, even mentioning that mark blacked out the component values rather then goop it as he does his Marshall mods. I will say this though, although not the best looking amp , the clips of that thing sounded excellent! Many players who aren't as worried about looks would love to rock that sleeper toaster amp!! Pretty cool to have hg Jose and Aldrich features and tones on one small amp.

That's so sketch.
This is as shady as it gets, and numerous previous good trades do nothing to make this less of a fraud.
IMHO he was looking for a sucker.

Pure horseshit. .
If he knew it wasn't built by Mark, it shouldn't have been advertised that way; if he didn't know, I'm not buying the ad would have been worded to be deliberately misleading.
Are you really suggesting a potential buyer should have to ask if an amp was "really" built by Mark, or if he has any documentation?![]()

Last I checked, Mark didn't offer COA's..
Irrespective of those points, he refused a refund after being told it wasn't genuine.
For me, end of story.
FWIW, there is no "typical looking" Cameron build; I've had a ton of them, and they're all different.
I never felt compelled to have him sign one.
Ridiculous defense of an obviously shady fuck.
