I have one of these and I want to bias a new pair of tubes. I figured I need to solder in the 1ohm 1/2 watt resistor. When I open it up I see that it has a resistor soldered to the lug but it's off of pin 5 not 8. And there is no lug off of pin 8 to solder to. So I guess I need to buy a biasing kit and just hook my meter to that. Ive done it without a bias tool on quite a few Marshalls but this looks like different......lol. Anybody have experience with these?
